On August 12, the contested case hearing for the challenge of Enbridge Line 5 state permits by the Bad River Band and environmental groups begins in Ashland. Join us the day before for a community gathering.

Water Weekend Saturday events: Pipe Out Paddle Up (9am-12:30pm) and Water is Life Festival (12pm-9pm)
Water Weekend events on Sunday: Bad River film screening (2-4:30pm) and Movement workshops (10am-1pm and 5:30-8pm)
Water Weekend Monday event: No Line 5 Tunnel Outreach at Mackinac Bridge Walk (5:30am-2pm)
The day after the Michigan Climate Action Summit, attendees are invited to go to the Capitol lawn for a day of action. See their website for more information.
