Species Surveying & Community Float

Last month’s gathering included learning about how to help survey the proposed Line 5 reroute areas for threatened, endangered, and non-native species. As a follow-up, some folks are organizing a Community Float event on Saturday, July 26th on one of the waterways that would be affected by the reroute project within the Bad River watershed. There will also be fliers for going door-to-door canvassing to folks who live along the construction corridor and along the rivers we hope to float survey on.
