Puppet Build Day – Fight the Black Snake Puppet Show

Come build puppets for a show benefiting water defenders working to figh Enbridge’s Line 5 oile pipeline in northern Wisconsin. Fight the Black Snake is a community-built puppet show raising funds for water defense in northern Wisconsin, fighting back against Enbridge’s line 5 pipeline and new reroute threatening the Bad River watershed. February builds will have a lot of big puppet work, painting on the crankie scroll, costumes, and figuring out the exact narrative of the spectacle puppet finale:)
Big builds especially the 13th are gonna be more technical focused, since these are the really large puppets. Crankie painting and costume work will likely be happening alongside all the builds. We’ll probably also be adding to & updating some existing puppets!
